Leclerc has podium hopes in Turkey: "Hopefully the track is still slippery"

The extremely slippery track of Istanbul Park was a major source of irritation for the drivers last year. For the next edition the organisation has taken measures: the asphalt has been waterblasted to make it rougher and to create more grip. However, there is one man who would like to see the circuit in the same condition as in 2020: Charles Leclerc. The 2020 Turkish Grand Prix was a celebration for Ferrari, with Sebastian Vettel managing to make the podium from 12th on the grid, and Leclerc driving from 14th to fourth. "I was one of the few who was happy with the slippery conditions, because we were competitive and could compete for very good places," Leclerc told Autosport.com....
