Whitmarsh back in Formula 1 with Aston Martin

Martin Whitmarsh is back in Formula 1 as Group Chief Executive Officer of Aston Martin Performance Technologies, the former McLaren team principal back in the sport after a near-decade break. After F1, Whitmarsh became chief executive of Ben Ainslie's America's Cup challenge. He left that role in November 2017 but remains in an advisory position. He is also on the global advisory board of Formula E.
