Ricciardo ‘maybe getting a car' from Brown after win

Given the bet the two made before the start of the season, Daniel Ricciardo is hoping to get a car from Zak Brown after winning in Monza. When the Aussie signed for McLaren for the 2021 campaign and beyond, Brown said that if he scored a podium in his first season, the American would let him drive one of Dale Earnhardt’s – Ricciardo's idol – race-winning NASCAR Chevrolets in his ownership. Ricciardo did just that at the Italian Grand Prix, and what's more, he won the race, crossing the line ahead of team-mate Lando Norris to secure a 1-2 finish.
