Max Verstappen fights back as George Russell delivers 'cold-blooded' display
Max Verstappen fought back from a big crash in qualifying to finish second in the Austrian Grand Prix, while George Russell converted pole position into a second win of 2026 at the Red Bull Ring.
Championship leader Kimi Antonelli completed the podium with just two seconds separating the top-three, in what became a strategic race at Red Bull's home circuit. It was a disappointing day for Ferrari, who lacked race pace after starting in second and third.
