Norris thought about taking the win but "just as happy to stay in second"

Lando Norris finished second in the Italian Grand Prix and saw his teammate take the victory. It was McLaren's first one-two since the 2010 Canadian Grand Prix. Norris thought about challenging for the win but was just as pleased to stay in second.  "I am not going to lie. The priority is the team. I am here for the long term and for our future this is a great result. I could have tried. I asked the team what they wanted to do. I was just as happy to stay in second.
