Hamilton discussed retirement with Wolff
SPIELBERG, Austria -- Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff has said Lewis Hamilton discussed the possibility of retiring from Formula One before committing to a new two-year contract. Hamilton, a seven-time world champion, will stay at Mercedes until the end of the 2023 season after his new contract was signed on Friday and announced on Saturday.
