Sainz: We look very close to being a genuine threat

Carlos Sainz said that Ferrari are close to being a 'genuine threat' in Monaco after a very promising showing during Thursday practice. The Spaniard ended both sessions second quickest, with teammate Charles Leclerc setting the fastest time so far as he topped the timing sheets in FP2. Ferrari have been improved this season after a difficult 2020 campaign and looked particularly competitive at the Spanish Grand Prix, where Leclerc finished fourth and Sainz seventh.
