Raikkonen explains what caused strange Giovinazzi collision
Article To news overview © Alfa Romeo Kimi Raikkonen's Portuguese Grand Prix lasted just one lap after running into the back of teammate Antonio Giovinazzi, with the Finn taking full responsibility for the incident. While all 20 drivers got through the opening lap unscathed, that all changed soon after when the 40-year-old parked his car in the gravel. Replays showed Raikkonen clipping the left rear tyre of Giovinazzi's car which destroyed his front wing, and the Finn revealed he was distracted while checking something on his steering wheel.
