FIA hand Corberi 15-year racing ban

Luca Corberi has been given a 15-year ban from racing by the FIA following his disgraceful actions at the 2020 world karting finals. In 2020 the Italian drew widespread disgust from the world of motorsport when footage emerged online of him throwing the bumper of his car at Paolo Ippolito, a driver he felt had taken him out, during a FIA Karting World Championship race. And then in the paddock after the race, Corberi and his father, who owns the track where the incident took place, returned to physically assault Ippolito once again. Corberi said after the incident that he was quitting racing for good, and 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button called for a lifetime ban to be imposed...
