Mercedes topped the timesheets in both Friday practice sessions ahead of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola. After a difficult weekend in Bahrain, it looks as if Mercedes have found improvements ahead of the second race of the season. But Lewis Hamilton remains wary of Red Bull after they had a "messy session".  Expecting Red Bull to improve Sergio Perez had a crash in the first practice session on Friday morning, and then Max Verstappen had to stop out on the track with a driveshaft problem.
