Mick at Haas through Ferrari, not sponsor 1&1

Haas team boss Guenther Steiner made it clear that Ferrari have sent Mick Schumacher, rather than him being there due to sponsorship. During the latest season of Drive to Survive, Steiner was seen negotiating with 1&1 over a sponsorship deal, and the German firm were very interested is making sure that a driver from their nation was on the 2021 grid. Schumacher, the reigning Formula 2 champion, is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, and Haas enjoy links with the Scuderia. But that scene cast doubt over who actually made sure that Schumacher joined Haas, since 1&1 did go on to become a major sponsor of the American team.
