Sainz: 'Vettel wrote a letter to me when he left Red Bull'
Carlos Sainz was named as Sebastian Vettel' s successor at Ferrari ahead of the 2020 season. The Spaniard can make the four times world champion forget about Vettel in Maranello and he considers that a huge honour. According to Sainz Vettel is a great driver. "I have a lot of respect for Sebastian, and I think we are similar in terms of character traits," Sainz told the Spanish SoyMotor.com. In recent years, Vettel does not seem to be performing at the top of his game in Formula 1, but Sainz has a lot of respect for the German.
