Haas: Big F1 teams might call it quits in 2022

Article To news overview Gene Haas, owner of the Haas Formula 1 has made a bold prediction that some of the bigger F1 teams might leave the sport in a few years due to seismic changes occuring in the automotive industry. With several manufacturers pushing to go electric, their priorities may change as well opening the door for a possible switch from Formula 1 to championships such as Formula E. The trend has already gathered momentum with the likes of Mercedes, Porsche, and Audi all competing in the electric championship, with the Haas owner projecting other carmakers might leave F1 altogether.
