The battle for the lead in 2020 was mainly between the two Mercedes drivers and Max Verstappen, because Alexander Albon could not keep up. In 2021 the team will of course be driving with Sergio Perez, who has come over from Racing Point to take Albon's place. Red Bull Racing hopes this will make them a better contender for at least the constructors' title, which Toto Wolff sees as a threat. Strong opponent Mercedes have been able to win the constructors' title relatively unscathed in recent years, as they have often been able to put two men on the podium. With the arrival of Perez at Red Bull Racing, that team has two drivers who, on paper, can make things difficult for Mercedes....
