Horner: Perez can push Max more than Albon did
Red Bull team boss Christian Horner believes Sergio Perez can step up to the challenge and pressure teammate Max Verstappen more than Alex Albon did last year. Albon's performance shortfall last season relative to the talented Dutchman ultimately compelled Red Bull to replace the 24-year-old with Perez, handing to the experienced Mexican his first big break with a leading F1 team. But taking on the intrepid and blindingly fast Verstappen is no small task. Yet Horner believes Perez can rise to the occasion, much to red Bull's overall benefit.
