Ricciardo: 2020 there or thereabouts with my best seasons in F1
New McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo feels that 2020 is 'definitely' among his best seasons in Formula 1. The Australian finished fifth in the drivers' standings with Renault, securing podium finishes at the Nurburgring and Imola respectively. The 31-year-old outqualified his teammate Esteban Ocon at 15 of the 17 rounds and ended a race outside of the points on just three occasions. Asked whether it was one of his best seasons in F1 since he debuted in 2011, Ricciardo said “I definitely feel it has been there or thereabouts.
