There has been lots of talk about the position of Nikita Mazepin within the Haas team for next season. Because of his behaviour on and off the track, fans created an initiative to get him out of the car. This forced Haas to come up with a statement in which they say that they are sticking to their contract. Mazepin has come under considerable fire since the announcement of his appointment with Haas. In the first place, this was due to his driving behaviour during Formula 2 on the Bahrain circuit, where he almost pushed some of his opponents into the wall with his defensive actions.
