Where Ferrari could still fight at the front with Mercedes and Red Bull Racing in recent years, they were nowhere most of last season. With a bit of luck, Leclerc and Vettel managed to finish on the podium, but it became clear that they started 2020 with a considerable gap where they should have had a lead. The road to recovery is now underway, but it will take a long time.
