‘It’s Like Driving On Ice’: Watch Fastest Lap Of FP1 At Istanbul
Formula One is returning to Turkey for the first time since 2011 this weekend, and things got off to an interesting start, with countless drivers spinning in Free Practice One as they struggled to get to grips with the slippery surface. Red Bull driver Max Verstappen ended the session in P1 after setting a lap time of just over 1:35ms towards the end of FP1. READ: Williams’ Acting Team Principal Tests Positive For COVID-19 Earlier in the session, Verstappen told his race engineer that “it’s like driving on ice.” You can watch his fastest lap of the session on the official Formula One YouTube channel.
