Juri Vips on reserve driver duties for Red Bull at F1 Turkish GP
Juri Vips will act as reserve driver for the Red Bull and AlphaTauri Formula 1 teams at this weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix. Check out the Crash F1 YouTube channel - CLICK HERE
The 20-year-old Estonian has been awarded an FIA Super Licence following the completion of 300km of running in an F1 car, meaning he is able to be on standby for the Red Bull-owned teams in a reserve driver capacity if required. With Red Bull’s usual reserve driver Sergio Sette Camara facing clashing racing commitments this weekend, and fellow reserve Sebastien Buemi contesting the final round of this year’s FIA World Endurance Championship in Bahrain, Vips has been promoted for the 14th round of the 2020 F1...
