FIA evaluating need for changes after Imola marshal incident

Formula 1's governing body the FIA says it will consider whether changes to its race proceedures are needed after a dangerous incident with track marshals in Sunday's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. An incident that occurred under the safety car period caused by the incidents with Max Verstappen and George Russell, the FIA's race control allowed six cars to unlap themselves while marshals were still on track clearing debris, with the last of those cars – Racing Point's Lance Stroll – approaching the scene at high speed having not been warned of their presence.
