Steiner reveals he asked Alfa to wait for lineup announcement

In 2021 Haas will have a completely new line-up. Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen will make way for two new drivers, at least one of whom is expected to be a young Formula 2 driver. Mick Schumacher seems to be certain of a seat, but Guenther Steiner doesn't want to say anything about it yet. Steiner expects the announcement to be long overdue and expected the same from the other team with Ferrari engines. "I had asked Fred Vasseur to wait until after this season for the announcement, but it clearly did not work ," Steiner explained to the Danish  Ekstra Bladet .
