Alfa Romeo and Sauber Motorsport have extended their partnership to continue their Formula 1 collaboration through next year, the parties announced on Thursday. Alfa Romeo returned to Formula 1 in 2018 as the title sponsor to Sauber and last year the team was rebranded under the Italian company’s name. Sauber continues to operate and run the team out of its long-standing base in the Swiss town on Hinwil.
