Mercedes records another Covid-19 case, four more isolated

Mercedes has confirmed that it has recorded another case of Covid-19 among its travelling Formula 1 personnel while five more have been isolated. Mercedes communicated a positive case on Thursday at the Nurburgring and re-tested its entire travelling team. One more person returned a positive test while one more was determined to be inconclusive and that person is awaiting a retest. In line with protocols outlined by Formula 1 and the FIA a further four team members, who all tested negative, will no longer be permitted to take part in the weekend’s action.
