Renault in talks over young driver test for Alonso

He will be one of the oldest drivers on next year's grid but Renault are in talks with the FIA over putting Fernando Alonso in the car for the young drive test. Next season Alonso will return to the Formula 1 grid, signing with Renault for a third stint. The 2021 season will mark the Spaniard's first F1 campaign since he walked away from the sport and McLaren at the end of the 2018 season. After two years out of the sport, Renault are keen to secure some track time for their returning driver.
