Hamilton: F1 put drivers at risk to make restart more exciting
Lewis Hamilton felt Formula 1 drivers were put at risk by the late decision to restart the Tuscan Grand Prix, following the multi-car pile-up which caused the race to be suspended. Check out the Crash F1 YouTube channel - CLICK HERE
F1’s first ever competitive visit to Mugello proved a dramatic affair with a Safety Car thrown just seconds into the race for an incident which eliminated Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly. During a rolling restart, Carlos Sainz, Kevin Magnussen, Antonio Giovinazzi and Nicholas Latifi were all wiped out in a major accident which forced the race to be red flagged.
