Lance Stroll: ‘Bit of a bummer' despite P3 finish

Italian Grand Prix – Racing Point's Lance Stroll says he had no grip on the second restart, costing him a possible stronger finish than his eventual P3. Lance Stroll claimed Racing Point's first podium of the year by claiming P3 on Sunday at Monza, but the result could arguably have been even better. Stroll didn't make a pitstop during the first half of the race, and was in prime position for the second start after the red flag period. He effectively ran non-stop, as he was able to change his tyres during the red flag, and held the net lead for the second start as Lewis Hamilton was handed a 10 second stop & go penalty prior to the race resuming.
