FIA supports Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies with 2 million euros

FIA President Jean Todt delivered a cheque for almost 2 million euros to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to support the humanitarian organization’s global COVID-19 response. The FIA and the RM Sotheby's joined forces in June in order to raise money to support the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The two parties arranged a charity auction that took place from 15 to 22 June under the banner #RaceAgainstCovid. The auction was successful after it raised one million euros in sales of memorabilia from famous motor sports drivers. The governing body made a donation of one million euros to the charity auction.
