Racing Point: "We have 886 drawings to prove that our brakes are legal"

Also this weekend Renault protested against the legality of the Racing Point. The team would have taken over parts from Mercedes and in doing so would have broken the rules. However, Racing Point is not aware of any harm and is now getting ready to defend itself against the accusations. Otmar Szafnauer informs Motorsport.com that Racing Point is ready for the accusations. "It is impossible that the brakes are illegal. It takes an enormous amount of time to design them and they are extremely complicated. We have 886 individual drawings for our brakes".
