What coronavirus? 175,000 tickets sold for Indy 500 in August

Whereas in Europe people are very reluctant to reopen public venues and especially to allow audiences to attend events, in the United States they are pushing ahead. Last weekend on Road America the first race weekend with spectators was already organized and the Indianapolis 500 is also planned to take place with spectators. The 104th edition of the biggest racing event in the world is currently scheduled for August 23rd and every effort is being made to have it take place with full grandstands.
