FIA, in consultation with Ferrari, introduces new controls on oil consumption

The FIA announced on Thursday that it is introducing two new guidelines to control, among other things, oil consumption in Formula 1. The intention is that these controls will be more accurate and there will be less room for interpretation of the rules. These new guidelines have been made in consultation with Ferrari, according to The Race. The latter is a result of the secret agreement made by the FIA and Ferrari after the investigation into the 2019 power source of the Italian team was completed.
