Formula E will continue to drive in Italy for the next five years

Formula E will continue to race in Rome for at least the next five years. The contract around the ePrix of Rome has been extended until 2025. Formula E and the Italian capital have reached an agreement on this. The ePrix could not continue this year because of the coronavirus, but the city will be on the calendar for the coming years. The first time Formula E drove in Rome was in the 2017-2018 season. In that year Sam Bird took off with the victory. Since then a lot is expected from the ePrix. Last season the New Zealander Mitch Evans took the win. Robin Frijns has a fourth place so far as best result in Rome.
