McLaren F1 driver Sainz tests negative for coronavirus

McLaren Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz has confirmed he has tested negative for coronavirus. The Spaniard is currently taking part in a voluntary quarantine period as a precautionary measure after a member of the McLaren F1 crew contracted COVID-19 at the Australian Grand Prix. Despite testing negative for the flu-like virus, Sainz will continue with his current self-isolation, which he admitted to being “a bit bored” of earlier on Tuesday.
