Hamilton finds Verstappen comments “funny’, a ‘sign of weakness’

Defending Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton says he finds recent comments made by rival Max Verstappen “funny” and “a sign of weakness”. Six-time world champion Hamilton has the chance to equal Michael Schumacher’s all-time F1 record of seven drivers’ world titles this season if he can successfully add to his current streak of three consecutive championship triumphs. Verstappen and Red Bull are aiming to derail Hamilton’s quest of adding more silverware to his collection by mounting a serious title challenge in 2020.
