Latifi expects tough debut but has confidence in the team

After Robert Kubica failed to turn the fortunes of Williams, the constructor have turned to Nicholas Latifi. The Canadian has admitted his debut F1 season won't be plain sailing but backs his team to bounce back from a tough couple of years. Latifi led the early stages of the 2019 Formula 2 season but eventually finished second in the Drivers' Championship as Nyck de Vries pulled through. However, Latifi was the one to earn an F1 gig, as he joined Williams, replacing Robert Kubica for 2020.
