Williams: Nissany needs “to really put the work in” to make it to F1

Williams deputy team principal Claire Williams has said that Roy Nissany will have “to really put the work in” to achieve a future seat in Formula 1 after signing on as the team’s development driver for 2020. It was announced last week that Nissany would take on the role of development driver at the Grove-based team which will see him take part in five FP1 sessions during the 2020 Formula 1 season. The Israeli driver will also compete in the Formula 2 championship this year, having competed in 2018. but is yet to be assigned to a team as Williams prepare him. "You can look at Roy's history in motorsport, he's done a year in Formula 2 a few years ago, and...
