Kubica eyes F1 test role alongside DTM race seat for 2020

Robert Kubica is looking to combine a Formula 1 test role alongside with a race seat in DTM for the 2020 season. Kubica has been replaced by Formula 2 frontrunner Nicholas Latifi in Williams’ line-up for next year after he announced he would be leaving the team at the end of his comeback season. The 34-year-old Pole, who completed an unlikely return to the F1 grid having recovered from life-threatening injuries sustained in a rally accident in 2011, says he has now decided upon his programme for 2020 and expects confirmation to follow shortly. “The decision from my side has been taken,” Kubica said ahead of his final race appearance for Williams at the season finale in Abu Dhabi....
