Magnussen hopes qualifying is on as 'we didn't get much' out of practice

Haas driver Kevin Magnussen admitted he had to "go for it a little bit" on Friday during FP2, as it could be that the session's results determine the starting grid with qualifying potentially being cancelled on Sunday morning. The Dane finished FP2 in 16th for Haas, with teammate Romain Grosjean coming in three places above him in 13th. Today, on Saturday, there will be no running on Suzuka and therefore no FP3, and qualifying could be off as well. It's currently scheduled for Sunday morning 10am local time.
