F1 Star Yamamoto Is the First Japanese in Five Years to Join FP1

The F1 Grand Prix 2019 starts this Friday with free practice sessions on the Suzuka race track, Japan. And for the first time in many years, the Japanese racer Naoki Yamamoto joins FP1. He will compete for the Torro Rosso team with the backing of Honda. Unfortunately, Honda officials haven’t gained the super license for this year’s F1 races, although they have a Japanese driver Nobuharu Matsushita in the sixth place of the current F2 championship.
