Newey heading for Extreme E championship

Red Bull's chief technical officer Adrian Newey will act as the ‘lead visionary' for the Veloce team in the new Extreme E Championship. Newey is regarded as one of the greatest designers in Formula 1 history having provided Sebastian Vettel with the machinery for his four-consecutive Drivers' Championships between 2010-13 and Red Bull's same achievement in the Constructors'. The 60-year-old also designed title-winning challengers for Williams and McLaren in the 1990s, and now he will expand into entirely new territory.
