F1 Hybrid engines play “a leading role” in reducing world carbon emissions

Formula 1 CEO Chase Carey has stated that the hybrid engines used in the sport will play “a leading role” in reducing environmental issues around the world in carbon emissions and that F1 has pioneered technology used in current road cars.
