Lewis Hamilton had a heavy crash in final practice at the Belgian Grand Prix, raising questions about his participation in qualifying. The world champion lost control entering the Fagnes chicane, trying to improve a lap time 0.35 seconds down on team-mate Valtteri Bottas.
