Villeneuve critical of Gasly: 'He isn't on the level he should be on'

Pierre Gasly is a man under pressure and Jacques Villeneuve has not made things any easier for him after the Canadian criticised the Red Bull driver for not being up to the standard he should be at. Gasly stepped up to Red Bull from Toro Rosso for the 2019 season having spent some of 2017 and all of 2018 at the junior team. His performances at Toro Rosso were enough to see him earn a promotion. He scored a best finish of P4 at the 2018 Bahrain Grand Prix and his points tally of 29 saw him, partner, Max Verstappen this year.
