Hamilton: Wet practice running now 'irrelevant' in F1

Lewis Hamilton says wet-weather practice running is "kind of irrelevant now" for Formula 1 teams after losing the majority of second practice in Hungary to the rain. Light rain prompted most team to limit their running throughout the final hour of practice at the Hungaroring on Friday, with Hamilton completing just three laps on the Intermediate tyres before bringing his session to an early end. The Mercedes driver ended the day third-fastest, but explained after the session that there was very little for drivers and teams to gain by completing laps and laps when wet weather hits in practice.
