Mercedes had to reassemble Lewis Hamilton's car shortly before the Canadian Grand Prix after a hydraulic leak was discovered. The issue is not expected to cost Hamilton his second place on the grid but gave the Silver Arrows a headache nevertheless. The Silver Arrows brought their spec-two engine to Montreal, with Williams and Racing Point also taking new engines.
