Vettel steals pole for Canadian Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel Sebastian Vettel has stolen pole position from Lewis Hamilton with a last gasp lap during qualifying for the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix. The interrupted session looked set to go the way of Mercedes once again before Vettel was able to improve with his final lap. Hamilton had held provisional pole, improving on his own best with his final effort, but it ultimately fell short two tenths short. Third went to Charles Leclerc while Daniel Ricciardo qualified an impressive fourth.
