Formula 1 teams set for second in-season test
Formula 1 teams have stayed on in Spain for the second of two in-season tests that will take place this year. As in Bahrain Formula 1 teams are permitted to field one car on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the sessions running from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00. Ferrari and Racing Point will both field a second car in order to assist tyre supplier Pirelli with assessing its 2020 prototypes. With a wave of youngsters having stepped up in recent seasons only one driver will make their debut behind the wheel of an F1 car. Ferrari-backed Callum Ilott will receive a day’s worth of running in the Alfa Romeo C38; the Briton competes for the company’s Sauber Junior Team in Formula...
