Wolff: A journalist wrote a funny story full of speculation
Toto Wolff has scoffed at reports that he is being primed to take over the role of Formula 1 CEO from Chase Carey as of 2021 onwards, the Mercedes chief insisting he is in a unique position and intends to stay for the long term with the all-conquering team he built. Wolff told Kronen Zeitung. “I wouldn't be taking my job seriously if I participated in such speculation. A journalist wrote a funny story which is full of speculation.' “But I will be at Mercedes for a long time and have a great undertaking to lead this team.
