Latest Renault engine upgrade reliability-driven

Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo has confirmed its latest power unit update is focused on greater reliability after suffering continued mechanical trouble over the opening rounds of the 2019 Formula 1 season. Just two races after its previous reliability upgrade with its motor generator unit-kinetic (MGU-K), following a continued run of breakdowns triggered by the element, Renault will introduce a fresh upgrade believed to be a new internal combustion engine (ICE) for the Spanish Grand Prix.
