Ferrari have an 'open invitation' to join Formula E - Alejandro Agag

Formula E boss Alejandro Agag says there is an 'open invitation' for Ferrari to join the series, should they wish to at any point in the future. The all-electric single-seater series has grown rapidly since its first race in 2014 and has welcomed several major manufacturers including Renault, Nissan, Jaguar, Audi and BMW and will see Porsche and Mercedes join later this year. Ferrari has so far resisted calls to join the series but has, under former chairman Sergio Marchionne, signalled an interest.  'We continue to look at it, and I think we have not given up on the idea of potentially one day entering,' Marchionne said before he tragically passed away last year.
